Spreading the word

Thank you to everybody who helped spread the word by interacting with the social media posts and to everybody who upvoted the Launch on Product Hunt, where the Launch got over 100 upvotes.

Launch event attendance

A huge "Thank you" goes out to everybody who took time out of their busy day to attend the Launch event. It was great to talk to people I haven't spoken to in a long time and to meet new people. The feedback from people who met new people was very positive, which means a lot to me and encourages me to continue building.

A special Thank You

The biggest "Thank you" goes out to my wife for all the support during the days leading up to the Launch. She coached me through the prioritization of items that needed to happen before the Launch, helped me draft all the Social Media posts, wrote all the Event descriptions, kept our daughter busy so that I could spend more time preparing final bits and pieces and finally woke up at 3am to see how the Launch was going. Thank you so much for all your support.

Reflection

This was the first Launch. Overall it went smoothly, but a few things can be improved. I realized that I spent time on some things that didn't matter in the end, and I forgot about a few other things. But most importantly, I gained experience and learned a lot for the next time. I'll do a more thorough write-up and publish it in the Girl Dad Entrepreneur Newsletter.

What’s next?

Over the coming weeks, I plan to host Events for Digital Nomads, Entrepreneurs, Expats, AI Enthusiasts, Working Parents, Job Seekers, and weekly Happy Hours. The events are a mix of peer support groups where people can talk to each other and share their knowledge / experience and networking events to meet new people.
